Learn Sterile Technique

We'll cover most of the basics about sterile technique practices and will elaborate a bit on more advanced sterile lab setups. 

We highly encourage you to read about, search on the internet for, check out youtube videos on, and gain a good understanding of sterile technique.   If you want to invest a few dollars in one of these 3 books, you won't be disappointed. These books are awesome and have lots of information about everything mushrooms including information on sterile technique and growing best practices.  They were written by  Paul Stamets, Tradd Cotter, and Peter McCoy.  Hats off to these three for their contributions to mycology, and their successful production of well rounded literature about mushrooms.
